Lake Clermont was developed in the early 1990's. The 55 acre lake was dug to provide sand for Highway 70 and is now home to one of the areas most desirable neighborhoods. It is one of the largest man made lakes in the area.

With large expansive lots Lake Clermont quickly established itself as one of New Bern's premier neighborhoods. There is a large common area that gives access to the lake to all property owners. The common area has a gazebo, barbeque grill, and dock that can be used for fishing.
