Where the living is so easy
Fairfield Harbour is one of the premier
neighborhoods in Eastern North Carolina. It is the only
gated community with 24/7 security guards in the New Bern
area. Northwest Creek Marina, shown above, is
located about 500 yards from the Neuse River. The
Neuse River is the widest river in the United States
and is a popular destination for serious sailors and power
boaters. By power boat you can be in historic
downtown New Bern in about 20 minutes or the quaint
fishing village of Oriental in 35 minutes. The
intracoastal waterway is only about 30 minutes away.
Fishing anyone? My brother caught this rather large
stripped bass about a mile from the entrance to
Northwest Creek Marina. Some of the best fishing in
North Carolina is within a few miles of Fairfield.
